When walls are taken down it creates new possibilities in a relationship. “opportunity” shows how we hold back sometimes and when filtering in new options, we enable a blending of two worlds.

Inspired by the renovation of a building across the road from my studio, this is the first of five paintings I created that discuss the 'openings' we create to enable relationships — from the emotional risks and vulnerability, to exploring new opportunities.
