As we work through the development of a relationship, elements of surprise, wonder, and opportunities present themselves that we may miss if we are not open to the exploration.

Inspired by the renovation of a building across the road from my studio, this is the first of five paintings I created that discuss the 'openings' we create to enable relationships — from the emotional risks and vulnerability, to exploring new opportunities.
