This piece came about when I recognized that I was in a relationship with a familiar cycle of behaviour from my past. Trying to determine how I got there, why and what motivated me to stay in it, and knowing I needed to change it to move forward — I realized I needed to alter my direction.


"Patterns" is about the times when you get stuck on repeat, breaking through, allowing new experiences to interrupt it, and reworking your path to stay true to self. It further explores your root of being.

My palette altered dramatically in 2021 - exploring mixed media and alternate presentations of the works. I currently (2023) fluctuate between minimalism in colour and content to my usual full colour canvases.. not done with those yet.

tantric & other musings

Some of my paintings explore concepts around tantra from the beauty and unique wonders of bodies, to spiritual unions sexually and mindfully.
